Volcano Tag!

For PE on Thursday, in conjunction to wrapping up our week studying volcanoes, we played a game invented by Ms. Steichen and Mrs. Kelly: Volcano Tag! When tagged, students had to mime the explosion and lava flow of a specific type of volcano (composite/strato volcano; shield volcano; cinder cone volcano; or fissure volcano). Others in the game could guess which type of volcano the actor was; a correct guess freed the tagged student and allowed them to continue running. Here are some pictures from our fun Thursday morning:
