In February we will begin painting our second pieces for the on-going mural of the Columbia River Gorge in the Grade School hallway. Each class will need one point parent to be the bridge between the mural artists and the classroom. The parent will need to be available for a training with the mural artists on January 18 from 11:45 to 3:15 (lunch provided), as well as for a week in February where the parent will be leading art lessons for the class. If you are willing to commit to this very important and critical role, please let me know.
If you would like to help but are not able to commit to such a large role, I would love to have several volunteers during our painting week in February. We will most likely be painting for an hour or so per day and this could be a more flexible way to volunteer. Let me know if you would like to be notified of our painting time once the schedule is arranged.
